In defense of OSU, every year is a new team, so we can't base this year's team on what happened last year. You can argue about their easy schedule, but they do play USC and we know how they have handled SEC teams. So if they beat USC, they are darn good.

Coach Richt has been on all the ESPN stuff this week, Cowherd, Van Pelt, College Gameday Live, Sportscenter and he had made the comment that we were not starting practice on Friday like a lot of other teams because he wanted to give the team one last weekend to get their mind off football and this is how the playas respond...I bet Richt is kicking himself for not starting practice Friday and the possibility of this happening would probably been less...you know the attitude was probably thug it up one more time at THE LIBRARY before practice starts...after reading the article in the Athens paper dont think this is the end of the story and hope no one else was involved but it appears others are involved

I injured my calf muscle at the 2-mile mark and had to walk the last mile. I was at 12:15 and probably shouldn't have been running that fast. It's alot better now. I'll start running again tomorrow. We need to have a slogan contest for Rhode Island to attract tourism.

In the first half of this year, there have been about 700 burglaries across Clarke County, up 200 from the same time period in each of the previous two years, according to Assistant Police Chief Alan Brown. If the trend continues, 2008 will be the worst year for burglaries in more than a decade. Robberies also are on the rise in Clarke County. In May, 20 people notified police they had been robbed, while during the first half of last month, police fielded new robbery complaints almost daily.
